 TUNED IN, is situated in Aberdeen Scotland, and was formed in 2004 to   support pipebands, pipers and drummers.

The company offers services in the manufacture and support of CHANTERS, PRACTICE GOOSE, BAGPIPES and ACCESSORIES.

Restoration of old or damaged pipes is also undertaken, this can range from a basic repair to a full up-grade and restoration with silver mounts.

TUNED IN provides friendly advice whether you are a novice or experienced piper.

I have a wide range of knowledge and experience in modern engineering practices. This is beneficial as it allows an instrument to be manufactured to the high standards requested by todays pipers.

Having  been actively involved in the piping scene from an early age I have a wide knowledge as to how the instrument should look and sound . I started off with tuition from the Gordon Highlanders then was taught by Scots guards man Ian Blair, from this I played with Oldmeldrum pipe band under the leadership of Barry Tough.Barry has been involved with the development of my pipes and continues to offer support and development ideas. I play with the Tayside Police Grade 1 band and have gained lots of experience from players like Ian Duncan, Lindsay Ellis, Brian Donaldson and the band is now under the leadership of David Clunie ex-pipe major of the Clan Gregor pipe band.
